The Senior Intermountain Scratch Bowling Association was formed in 1990 to give male scratch bowlers over 45 years of age and female scratch bowlers over 40 years of age the opportunity of competing in a scratch bowling tournament at least once a month beginning in September and culminating in the Grand Finals Tournament at the end of April. 

SISBA collects a $10 administrative fee payable each year at the beginning of the entrant's first tournament. This puts the member on the mailing list to receive the results of all the season's tournaments.

Entry fees are $80 per tournament which includes the prize fund of $45, lineage of $15, Grand Finals Fund of $12, and expenses of $8. All money not spent (i.e. lineage or expenses) goes into the Grand Finals Fund. The Grand Finals Fund becomes a part of the prize fund in the Grand Finals Tournament.
